It’s another time of the year when the world of football has to crown the best in the sport. This comes at a time when we are nearing the beginning of a new era – both Messi and Ronaldo are missing from the Ballon d’Or list for the first time since 2003. Messi is the reigning winner having won it in 2023. A new winner awaits to be crowned king of football for the year 2023/2024.
The Ballon d’Or Shortist 2024 top 30 list is heavily represented by the Premier League with 10 players featuring in the list. The top performers in the EPL, Man City and Arsenal are well represented and Chelsea got to have one player – Cole Palmer on the list.
